Goodbye GDP, Welcome GEP: A New Economic Vision for Bharat and the World
The future of economic measurement is changing. Bharat has taken a bold step by replacing GDP with GEP — Gross Empowerment of People.
Why GDP Is Wrong
For the last three years, I have been saying that the GDP formula is flawed. It measures production, not people’s well-being. GDP focuses on individualism — every person is seen as a separate unit, which fits into extreme capitalism. This has serious side effects, like high divorce rates (up to 60%), broken families, and loss of community values.
GDP supports a system where success is measured by how much you consume and produce alone. But that system is not working anymore. It creates a society of isolated individuals.
What Is GEP?
GEP means Gross Empowerment of People. It is a new way to measure national progress. Instead of only counting money and products, GEP will focus on how empowered and supported people are — socially, emotionally, and economically.
This new model is family-oriented and community-driven. It values human connection, strong relationships, and shared success. GEP is about how much people are growing together, not just how rich individuals are becoming.
The Prime Minister's Big Announcement
On 17th December 2024, the Prime Minister officially announced that Bharat is replacing GDP with GEP. This is a historic move. It shows that Bharat is now in a position to lead the world with its own policies, not just follow the West.
GEP is not just a new term — it will come with new indexes, formulas, and indicators to guide the economy. This is a major shift from the old system of measuring only profits.
Global Power Shift: End of Dollar and Crude Oil Hegemony
This change is happening along with a global economic shift. The hegemony of the US dollar is ending. Similarly, the power of crude oil in the Islamic world is declining. During the Arab Spring in 2011, Gulf nations realized that half of their oil wealth was already lost. They also realized how radicalization was spreading in India, Pakistan, and Bangladesh.
The truth is — Christianity without reserve currency and Islam without crude oil have lost their global economic tools.
War, Sanctions, and Defense Politics
Today, sanctions and wars are not long-term solutions. One month you have a war, and in the next few months, you're doing defense deals with the same country. (Like Russia and Ukraine.)
If the Kashmir issue gets solved, some countries like Russia may lose defense deals. And if India stops doing defense business with them, can China risk a full-scale war with India? The message is clear — if Beijing tries to destroy Delhi, Delhi can also put Beijing to sleep. The balance of power is shifting.
The Future of the Dollar and New Economic Opportunities
In the next five years, the value of the US dollar could fall drastically, maybe even to one-third of its value. But this creates new opportunities. If you understand what’s coming, you can benefit financially. There is massive scope in this segment for those who are ready to adapt to the new system.
Conclusion
Bharat is leading the world into a new age where empowerment matters more than production. The old GDP model is being thrown away and replaced with a human-centered, community-based GEP system. At the same time, global power centers are shifting. Oil and the dollar are no longer the ultimate forces. A new world order is forming — and Bharat is shaping it.
